The door handle on my upvc is working loose how can i fix it.

Hi yesterday my front door handle got stuck somhow and would not push up to lock. Unscrew one handle and remove the spindle. Sounds like the latch has gone. Do i need to replace handle or whole lock.

This could be either a faulty set of handles or a broken locking system. Try and use a big flat screw driver to open the door where the spindle use to go. The door handle will not lift when the door is closed. My key turns but the handles just spin and the door will not open.
